Overview
Louis XIV's sun king palace, transformed into a museum dedicated to the glories of France in 1837 by Louis Philippe. The Hall of Mirrors, royal apartments, and gardens of Le Notre draw visitors to where the 1789 court ended and the 1919 treaty was signed. The palace holds over 60,000 objects.
