Overview
The world's oldest public museums, opened to the people of Rome in 1734 from the papal collections on Michelangelo's Campidoglio square. The bronze She-Wolf, the Dying Gaul, the equestrian Marcus Aurelius, and the Colossus of Constantine fragments. The Tabularium basement tunnels link to the Roman Forum view.
