Design Museum
Overview
Founded by Terence Conran and opened in 1989 in a former banana warehouse at Shad Thames. In 2016 it moved to the remodelled Commonwealth Institute building in Kensington, with interiors by John Pawson. It covers product, graphic, fashion and architectural design, and its annual Designs of the Year award spotlights new work.
