Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation
Overview
Henry Ford's vast hall of American invention was dedicated in 1929 on the 50th anniversary of Edison's light bulb. It holds the bus on which Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat, the limousine in which John F. Kennedy was assassinated, and the chair Lincoln sat in at Ford's Theatre. Next door, Greenfield Village preserves Edison's Menlo Park laboratory and the Wright brothers' cycle shop.
