Los Angeles County Museum of Art
Overview
The largest museum in the western United States, straddling Wilshire Boulevard. Urban Light's 202 restored street lamps became LA's icon, with Chris Burden's Metropolis II racing through the lobby. The new David Geffen Galleries building by Zumthor opened to span the boulevard.
