Overview
The pits of the Terracotta Warriors, found by farmers digging a well in 1974, each soldier an individual face. Three covered pits hold some 8,000 warriors with chariots and horses guarding the unopened tomb mound of the first emperor. The most significant archaeological find of the 20th century.
