Vasa Museum
Overview
Built around the warship Vasa, which sank 1,300 meters into its maiden voyage in Stockholm harbor in 1628 and was raised in 1961, 98 percent intact. The salvaged hull, 700 sculptures, and recovered skeletons of the crew make it the world's best preserved 17th century ship. Scandinavia's most visited museum.
