Topkapi Palace Museum
Overview
The Ottoman sultans' court for 400 years, turned into a museum by the Republic. The treasury holds the Topkapi Dagger and the 86-carat Spoonmaker's Diamond; the harem reveals the private world of the seraglio. Relics of the Prophet were brought by Selim I, making it a pilgrimage site. Four courtyards descend over the Golden Horn.
